XW420 was delivered in 1971 then converted to T5A standard at Warton in 1974. It served with the RAF College Cranwell and 1 FTS Linton-on-Ouse before retirement in 1993 since when it has been at Cosford as an instructional airframe, currently used for First Line (flight-line) maintenance training.
