This HS.748 Series 107 wa soriginally built at Woodford for Smiths Aviation Division and was registered G-ASJT. It was procured for the RAE (Royal Aircraft Establishment) as XW 750 and delivered onJanuary 13, 1970. US civil registration N748D was applied in 2007 when the aircraft was flown to Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster where it serves as an engineering aide with Directions Finningley Aviation Academy.
