N5248Z - 48Z looking a little lonely on Silver lake which is several miles from Baker,Calif.Silver Lake was used as a WWII training base as seen in the 0O2 (Baker,Ca) picture. Many airplanes preceded 48Z landing on Sliver Lake and once saw a C130 do a touch and go - by S B J

N5248Z @ 3Q0 - Quick stop at Mina,Nv. Liked that it is a short walk to town and has a beautiful dirt runway. Population of Mina was 155 in 2010. - by S B J
