Aircraft 41834 Photo

Hellcat Bu.No. 41834 was built at Bethpage in Feb. 1944. Assigned to VF-15 aboard USS Hornet (CV-12), it made its way to Hawaii. It was then assigned to VF-3 and VF-83. It was converted into a drone and used for radioactivity tests at Bikini Atoll, 1946.
