Prior to its later restoration at Duxford, this Ambassador was displayed at the Dan Air Engineering base at Lasham for several years where it deteriorated in the outside conditions.

Aircraft G-ALZO, This airframe is the sole survivor of the production run of 23 Ambassadors built for BEA. Purchased by the Jordanian Air Force in 1960, then Dan-Air in 1963. After being in storage at Lasham for over a decade, it was donated to the DAS in 1986, at EGSU, photo by Chris Hall
