Shelter Cove Airport, Picture of Shelter Cove around 1984-85.Notice the boat launch area at the lower right of picture.Loved the open feeling that Shelter Cove offered in the 80s and even better in the 70s.Still beautiful,but just not the same (at least for me) now.

- Downwind at Shelter Cove in 1984. Always be watchful of the fog which has contributed to several accidents like a C172 on 8-13-76 & Beech on 7-31-80 and others. Fog gave me some anxious moments on one -VFR- departure. - by S B J
