This aircraft was accepted by the U.S.A.F. on July 19th, 1948, as a P-80C. It was stricken off charge in 1956, with a flight time of only 1731 hours. The aircraft was accepted by the U.S. Navy and used as a TV-2 advanced jet trainer, at which time it acquired the USN build number 33824.
