Aircraft C-GJEZ Data

I took over maintenance of this a/c while it was in the caribbean for some yrs. It is a very, very good a/c & was well maintained. Just keep a very close eye on that DUKE landing gear accuator. When I was asked to take over the maintenance, on flying into St. kitts, it failed & we almost had to land with only 1 main down. The repair station later told us that the gearing was totally chewed-up & we were very lucky. After that experience, I would drop the accuator out every 100 hr(max) & lube the shit out of it. Suggest you doing the same. Learn from experience, not an accident report.
