1301 came to North America in the late 1980's and was used as a demonstrator by Aerospatalle then sold to Rockey Mountain Helicopters. I was then sold to Sealand Helicopters in Newfoundland and registered as C-GUMP. It flew up and down the Labrador Coast and did some offshore platform work. I think it was eventually donated to a aviation school in Gander NFLD where it died a peaceful death.
