As a kid, in 1948, I worked for a departmentg store in Pittsburgh, Pa. They brought a 1948 Cessna Model 140 and had it on display in their 10th floor for sale puposes and the price at that time was $2995.00
I know that Cessna's new Model 162 retails for $111.000 today
Quite a difference in prices since 60 years ago.
