When I owned this aircraft in 1970 it was designated as a 7BCM and had an 85 HP Continental engine. I logged many happy hours before selling it to a man who years later ended up working at the same job in Bath Maine where I was a firefighter. He did a complete rebuild of the plane after a landing accident, and made it as good as new. Great flying machine, lots of fun. With the 85 hp and the climb prop it seemed to fly at 70 kts, climb, cruise, descend.
