I built and test flew N86669, back in 1962. Anyone wishing to talk to me about it can send me an email at jnpatr@msn.com.
I don't have any written records left, so any input from me is strictly from memory.

My son, who is in his mid fifties, sent me
this amazing link, to the aircraft he and I
built (over a three year period).
I was pleased to learn Stits N86669 is still
flying today! Over the years it appears a
few changes have been made, such as a new instrument panel, a larger engine, and a beautiful paint scheme.
This Playboy started it's life in a small back yard in Santa Monica CA. I moved to Oxnard and finished the wings and test flew the craft at Ventura Air Park. That airport was turned into a Marina so I moved it to Santa Paula and did the rest of the test flying (50 hours) over the Santa Clara riverbed , between Filmore and Oxnard.
I'm now a 73 year old retiree, living in Arizona (Tucson area).
