SP-PBL - The MD12 was developed in the late 1950s as a replacement for the Ilyushin 14 and in 1962 this sole MD12F was prototyped as an aerial photography version - which sadly did not reach production . This only example is preserved at the Poland Aviation Museum - by Terry Fletcher

This aircraft type was designed as a 20 seat passenger aircraft. It first flew in 1959 but never went into service and this example was used for survey work.
