Aircraft N8059X Photo

N8059X, 1961 Cessna 172B, C/N: 17248559
Short stop in Death Valley on the flight from Fremont,Ca. to Lake Havasu,Arizona on Memorial Day weekend in 1983. A very memorable (in my top 25) and satisfying day of flying!!Have found that great flights are not always determined by what you are flying.

N8059X @ TCY - What a fine plane 59X was (crashed in 9-23-12) that gave me over 500 very enjoyable hours. How fortunate pilots in the 50s and 60s were when the C172 came along. - by S B J
