3 de Havilland DHC-1 Chipmunks at a small 3-plane airshow at the former Vaerloese Air Base in Denmark (ATF, AVF, ALD). This was the first time aircraft landed at the airfield since the location became a civilian area.

Hangar 6 at the former Vaerloese Air Base in Denmark. This hangar was built in 1942 and was used by German Luftwaffe 1942-1945. 1946-2008 used by Danish Air Force for major aircraft overhauls. Today the hangar is used as a film studio.

The old control tower at Vaerloese Air Base in Denmark. The tower was built by the German occupation forces in 1942 and was used by German Luftwaffe 1942-1945. After WW2 used by Danish Air Force until a new tower was built in the late 1970s.

The control tower at Vaerloese Air Base in Denmark. The tower was built in the late 1970s and replaced the old tower from 1942. The air base closed in 2004. The airfield is occasionally used for airshows, and the tower has been in use at airshows.
