I came across this aircraft in a small clearing on the side of the Coquihalla Highway (aka BC Highway 5) about five miles north east of Hope, BC on July 3rd 2006. There were no skid marks and no signs of how the aircraft arrived there, though the port wing tip was slightly damaged and the front float struts were obviously trashed. The propeller was not damaged, so I am guessing the engine wasn't running at time of impact. A not said that the occupants were unharmed and the incident occurred around noon.
