This aircraft belonged to my grandfather Dan Tompkins Sr. It resided at Burbank Airport,CA. for many years(Pilots Co-op Flying Club).I hold a special place in my heart for this old girl.Thanks for posting the pictures.

I am the owner of N736SC. This particular R172K is actually a 172XP. The XP had 195 HP from the factory. Mine has the Isham 210 HP conversion. For takeoff the engine can be operated at 2800 RPM (210 hp) for 5 minutes.
