I was part owner in this airplane for many years, and have several hundred hours of flying time in it. Poor maintenance at the time made this airplane a dangerous airplane to fly. I certainly hope its new owner has gotten it back in good shape. Faulty fuel gauges, and leaking fuel caps made it impossible to know how much fuel was actually left in the tanks. Nose gear failure, nav radio failure, generator failure, and a sticking left main wheel brake made it a difficult airplane to fly. All in all I enjoyed my time in it. But looking back, after flying it all over the western states, I'm surprised I didn't end of a sad statistic.
