Original ownwer in Australia was Doug Thomson who cross hired the aircraft to Peninsula Aero Club, Tyabb, Victoria. The aircraft featured in the late 1970,s on the T.V. soapy "Flying Doctors" and was seen to have a nose wheel collapse (staged event). A beautiful airoplane to fly and Doug a great bloke too.
