One of two airship sheds at former RAF Cardington, built 1916 for the UK’s airship project. Each is 812 ft long, 180 ft wide and 157 ft high and contains 4000 tons of steel. R101 left from here on her ill fated voyage to India. The lovely Ann gives scale.
