@ Gustine Airport - Nice airport the seven years I flew out of there. Very little traffic most of which are Ag operations. Nice runway and lots of it. View is to the south (Kesterson Wildlife Rufuge). - by S B J

@ Tracy Municipal Airport - Tracy in 1985. Tracy has some interesting winds, especially if you are flying a taildragger!! Believe it is why there were runways in so many directions. Somebody knew what they were doing. View is east. - by S B J

@ Westover Field Amador County Airport - Soon after runway realinement in 1979. Enjoyed the smell of the fresh cut wood from the (now closed) near by sawmill . Made my frist solo landing on the short runway..Longer runway helped prevent accidents like a PA24 on 5-8-74 and a C210 on 9-4-73. - by S B J

@ Calaveras Co-maury Rasmussen Field Airport - Nice airport and it replaced the old airport (in the mid 80s) that was a short walk to downtown San Andreas which was nice. O well-I guess they call this progress ? View is north with old cement plant (long closed) top left and town of S A top right. - by S B J

@ Bryant Field Airport - What can I say. A favorite destination or stop when in the area. Watch out for density alt or you could end up in the water like a Piper did some years ago. Little damage and in fact the Cherokee flew again. View is east. - by S B J

@ Bryant Field Airport - Nice place to stop for lunch or overnight. A 2 minute walk to town. While density alt is always an issue, wind concerned me more at these high altitude airports. Mammoth Lakes which is 50 miles south, the wind can be downright nasty. - by S B J
