78E- Made a quick stop at Eagleville airport (now closed ) in NE Calif. 78E flew over 10 hours this day. It was a long day! Easy to understand (headache around hour 8) how the term airknocker came about.

N9078E - 78E flys south in the Calif central valley.In the distance to the west is seen Mt Diablo (3865 ft)which is the most prominent landmark and can be seen for a hundred miles.On VFR days it made navigation easy. - by S B J
