Non aircraft - Historical military vehicles on display at the Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, EGYK

Aircraft awaiting restoration/repair/respray at the Yorkshire Air Museum are currently stored at the rear of the main hangar. Included are a Lightning, 2 x Tornado (GR1 and GR4), the nose from an HP Herald, a Javelin and a Buccanear.

Another external view of the restored Watchtower with HP Victor K.2 XL231 'Lusty Linda' in the background. The Victor and other are occasionally fired up on 'Thunder' day special events.

One of the excellent displays on the airfield, this time an office has been recreated within the Watchtower, showing the duty Met Sgt desk.
